I'm powered..., temporarily,

Here are some pictures of my kicker mount.  It was designed and build with the intention of mounting a Johnson 85HP at something like 250 pounds.  As I was finishing up the mount another boater volunteered his 45HP(at a price I'm sure) just for the bouy run.  I'll be trying it out today.  If it's not to my liking then off it goes and back to my Johnson.

Nothing is actually bolted to the hull except on deck.  The lower arm is butted and turnbuckled only.
The plywood piece and the ratchet strapping is to keep the rear from wobbling.
The plan is to keep the motor locked in one position and steer with the rudder.
