Up for a long weekend,

Yesterday I was able to get the sealant 3M 5200 at Home Depot.  It was $11.97 for a 10oz tube.  This is a marine quality caulk for boats and designed to seal and still be flexible enough not to crack.  I've used Chemcaulk on bathtubs before with very good results.  Extremely sticky and not as "runny" as that other popular caulk for bathtubs.  And it doesn't peel way like that other popul....  I don't know the properties of Chemcaulk for marine use but I did do research on the 5200 and it was highly recommended for this application.  Tonight will be laying out as detailed a plan of tools and materials I will need.  Also a timetable to keep me focused on what needs to be done.  I don't want this to be more that 3 weekends - 6 days!  If it goes beyond that you may see an ad on Craigslist for a fixer-upper kayak around Christmas, next year.  With a free tube of 3M 5200 caulk.
